The Management Dashboard provides a monthly high-level view for plant managers and operations directors. It aggregates all 5S data into actionable metrics for leadership decision-making.
- Compares current month vs. previous month across all metrics
- Area rankings show which areas are improving, stable, or declining
- Shift comparison reveals if certain shifts underperform
- Action closure rates track the effectiveness of corrective actions
- AI executive summary provides a natural-language monthly narrative
Before You Start
The management dashboard is most useful with at least one full month of data:
- At least one month of operator submissions should be available for meaningful metrics
- You must be the system owner or have management-level access
1 Navigate to Management Dashboard
From the system dashboard, click "Management" in the navigation. The page opens showing the most recently completed month.
- Click "Management" in the system navigation to open the dashboard
- Use the month selector to navigate to a specific month

2 Monthly Score Overview
The overview section shows aggregated scores for the selected month with comparison to the previous month.
- Overall 5S score for the month with trend arrow (up, down, or stable)
- Per-pillar scores (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) with individual trends
- Total submission count and unique operator count for the month

3 Area Rankings & Trends
The area ranking table shows each area's performance for the selected month, ranked by overall score.
- Each row shows area name, overall score, per-pillar scores, and trend indicator (Up, Down, Stable, New)
- Color-coded scores highlight areas that need attention (red below 70%, yellow 70-85%, green above 85%)
- Click an area to drill down into its detailed monthly analytics

4 Shift Comparison
The shift comparison section shows average scores and unique operator counts per shift for the selected month.
- Average score per shift with comparison to the previous month
- Unique operator count per shift to identify participation gaps

5 Top Failing Items
A summary of the top failing checklist items across all areas for the selected month. Helps prioritize plant-wide improvement initiatives.

6 Action Closure Summary
Track the effectiveness of your corrective action program with key metrics for the selected month.
- Open actions, overdue actions, actions created this month, and actions closed this month
- Closure rate (closed / total actions) with comparison to the previous month
- Action closure trend chart showing the rate over the past 3-12 months

7 Monthly Score Trend Chart
A line chart showing the overall 5S score trend over the past 3 to 12 months. Useful for demonstrating long-term program improvement.
- Toggle between 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month views
- Hover over data points to see exact scores and submission counts

8 Red Tag Aging Analysis
The red tag aging analysis shows how long critical (red-tagged) actions have been open, helping identify items that are stuck or neglected.
- Aging buckets: 0-7 days, 8-14 days, 15-30 days, 30+ days
- Items in the 30+ day bucket require immediate escalation

9 AI Executive Summary
Generate an AI-powered executive summary that provides a natural-language narrative of the month's 5S performance, trends, and recommendations.
- Click "Generate Executive Summary" to trigger the AI analysis
- The summary appears as a card that can be copied, shared, or included in reports
- Generated in the system's default locale (English, Spanish, or Portuguese)

Tips & Best Practices
- Review on the first week of each month for the previous month.
- Use area rankings to recognize top-performing teams.
- Share the AI executive summary with leadership for a quick overview.
- Track closure rate trending: below 80% indicates action management issues.
- Compare shift scores: large gaps suggest training or staffing differences.
